This is exactly what one of our happy customers from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) did with her new backyard. Alison had a design in mind on how she wanted her garden to look after the major renovations that were taking place on her property. She did not want to build a new extension for storage, but instead wanted to utilise the space available from the renovations to build a modern garden shed in her freshly-made garden.
Alison, who lives in Etobicoke, searched for modern shed installers catering to the GTA area and read our five-star reviews from those around the area. Despite it being two hours away from our office in London, Ontario, we drove out to them and installed their garden shed. Once the order was placed, we went down with the materials to build the bright red corrugated steel door garden shed in Alison’s backyard. We arrived at her place in Etobicoke and discovered that the concrete foundation of the designated garden shed area had already been cemented in place. It is important to ensure that the level foundation is of top quality prior to a shed installation as this can make or break the longevity of the modern shed that will be built on top of it.
Her contractor assured us that the quality of the concrete foundation is of the best. With that, we started working on building the modern shed that Alison had desired for her backyard. We worked throughout the day to install the garden shed with a bright red corrugated steel door with clear-coated select pine on the front, accompanied with an exterior composite sliding door with galvanised steel hardware and three transom clear windows to allow for some sunlight into the modern shed. We have a variety of colours to choose from, and we were thrilled when Alison chose one of our best-selling colours for her cosy backyard!
While it started out with a few challenges, including understanding the landscape and how best to fit the modern shed right in to meet the needs of the newly renovated area, we were soon able to align the shed according to Alison’s requirements. The cool, modern shed installed in Alison’s lovely garden in the Etobicoke estate of the GTA, now allows her to store her gardening equipment inside and add some colour to her garden scenery.
